competing in local competitions such as team penning, cutting, barrel racing, gaming, judged trail riding, hunter or open shows? If your answer is yes, the United Global Horse Registry would like to offer you another way to receive recognition for your accomplishments. The United Global Horse Registry offers a variety of programs to suit a variety of people. From showing, racing and trail riding to National and World Championship Shows, the UGHR provides its members with diverse activities. UGHR Competitive All-Breed Activities Program gives merit and rewards the horse that excels in but not limited to all-breed competitition. Through UGHR, you can earn merits by competing in all events and then submitting the results to the UGHR. These merits will be recorded on your UGHR registered horses performance record. UGHR is your opportunity to receive the recognition and awards you deserve for participating on your horse in the events that your community offers. Something for Everyone
Please don’t confuse this program with showing and receiving national points at other association shows. Listed are the categories and a description of the events that have been pre-approved by the UGHR for inclusion in UGHRCABP. However, if you compete in an event not included in one of these categories, you may request that your event be added by writing to the UGHR Show Department. If approved, however, the event will not he added for 6 to 8 weeks. Please check the Show Registry to see if your local host is listed if not ask for an Show Registration Form and present it the next time you show and ask them to fill it out.Return it with your exhibition Form. Host requirement: any competition that has more than 5 horses showing accumilative in all catagories. In order to earn merits in a catagory/event there must be a leat 3 horses showing in a particular category/event. * Barrel Racing - Restricted to cloverleaf. This includes but not limited to WPRA and NBHA approved event or events sponsored by your local amateur association. * Combined Training – Includes but not limited to USCTA-approved events. * Cutting - includes but not limited to NCHA, ACHA and CCHA - approved events, or events sponsored by of your local amateur association. * Dressage – includes but not limited to USDF and AHSA-approved events * Driving –includes pleasure driving and but not limited to ADS-approved events. * Games - Includes but not limited to local, state or national. Gait skiing events including pole bending, stakes race, flag picking, speed (straight) barrels, keyhole, ring race and at) other gaming events. Limited to one person events. Team events are not included. (Cloverleaf barrels do not count in the games category.) *Halter – Includes halter and in-hand classes. Judged Trail Riding - Includesbut not limited to all non-breed association sponsored competition. * Reining - Includes snaffle bit, hackamore, open and but not limited to NRHA-approved events or events sponsored by your local amateur association.. * Roping - Includes team roping, heading, heeling, calf roping, breakaway roping and all but not limited to events sanctioned by the PRCA, NHSRA, USTRC, NIRA, NARC, WPRA, INRA or events sponsored by your local amateur association. * Team Penning - Includes but not limited to all non-breed association-sponsored events. * Trail - Includes but not limited to all non-breed association-sponsored competition and in-hand trail. * Western Pleasure - Includes but not limited to all non-breed association-sponsored events, including NSBA-approved events, western style longe line, and walk-trot western pleasure. * Western Riding – Includes but not limited to all non-breed association-sponsored competition. The Award System...
You don’t have to be a member of the UGHR to enroll and compete in the UGHRCABAP program. However, the horse must be registered with the UGHR in order to be eligible to receive awards. Awards are mailed to the first listed owner. How to enroll…
You will then receive a UGHRCABAP exhibitor report form with your Certificate of Registration. The first listed owner’s name will appear on the Form. When you receive your card, you are eligible to compete and start earning merits. Allow ten (10) days for processing applications. How to Report Your Success...
You will then he awarded merits based upon your placing and the number of horses you competed against using the same formulas used by the UGHR when awarding merit points to horses . Remember that merits will not be awarded for events that take place before you enrolled become eligible to compete.
